Abstract

|
The new N-aryl-benz[f]-indole-4,9-dione derivatives were synthesized via intramolecular cyclization when triethylmine was employed as a base for the reaction of 2-chloro-3-(alpha-cyano-alpha-ethoxycarbonyl-methyl)-1,4-naphthoquinone and arylamines.
